I needed to get outside the other day and so went to Blind River Rapids and walked the trail. It was really snowy, but beautiful as well. These pictures were taken from my phone.

Winter Beers

While in Seattle we stocked up on some winter beers for our beer tasting get together. Most of our guests didn’t prefer the dark winter beers, Ryan however was in heaven. My favorite is still Winter Hook by Red Hook or Winter Ale by Alaskan Brewing Co.

Tasting Glasses

We sometimes chip the tops of the glasses when we are cutting them to make our pint size glasses, so we took some of those mistakes and cut them smaller. We then used them as our tasters.

This is what has been giving me a headache about the US postal service lately. Why do 1/2 of all packages I receive look like this? Not only that but many of the cup sets I send out look like this and have one or more cups broken even after using extra cardboard to reinforce the box, bubble wrap, packing paper and just about anything else that I can put in there. Yes, I insure, yes I put fragile on the box. No it doesn’t seem to matter. Thank goodness nothing in this box was broken, but I did get a package months ago from my mother with my grandmother’s silver falling out of it. Thanks USPS.

Mustache Pacifiers

I ordered some pacifiers off Amazon since I’d bought all the boy and neutral colored pacifiers that I could find in town. I received about half of my order today and loved the new colors. I was crossing my fingers that I’d receive more blue, green, and orange, than I did pink and purple. so far I have. Now I just need to sell some more mustache pacifiers.
