So, before leaving for Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia we signed up to sell NuSkin products. It’s been tough going since you can’t get them shipped directly to UB but instead must use an address outside of the country and then have it shipped in. I’m trying to spread the word about how much I like the vitamins but I reach a very limited audience. So, I decided I’d try writing on my blog about it.

There are three main products I really like. The first is the Life Pak Family of vitamins: https://www.nuskin.com/content/nuskin/en_US/products/pharmanex/nutritionals/lifepak.html I take the Nano and have ordered both the Jungamals and the Teen for my son who is now 12. I feel about physically and am not getting as sick as I have in past winters. Also when my husband was sick he mended very quickly. The good thing about these vitamins is that they use the best ingredients instead of the extras or leftover ingredients that other vitamins use. You pay for what you get. If you are paying very little for vitamins then you are probably not getting very good quality.

The second product I love is the Vitality: https://www.nuskin.com/content/nuskin/en_US/products/anti-aging_opportunity/ageloc_products/01003736.html It gives me more energy and I only take half the dose suggested. I really like this product. It helps you on the inside.

The last product I like is the vitameal donation. It feels good to donate food to people who need it, especially at this time of year. I also like that I know the product is going to the people and that my money isn’t being wasted or kept by dishonest businesses. In fact if you order 4 they donate an extra one. You can also donate vitamins. If you go to the Nourish the Children link on the NuSkin page you can look at all the places they are distributing meals. It is amazing! https://www.nuskin.com/content/nuskin/en_US/culture/nourish_the_children.html

NuSkin also has a whole line of anti-aging products and have come out with weight management items. If you are interested in anything feel free to drop me a line at peppermcfarland@gmail.com and I’ll help you get set up. Or you can sign yourself up using me as a reference: USW8900643

I can’t believe it has been so long since I have posted on my site. I was very busy but that is hardly an excuse. Anyway we are now living in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia which if you want some great reading on that, visit my husband’s site: www.zieak.com

This is the first time I have taught 5th grade and I am finding it very different. Some funny things that have happend so far are the fact that half the class cheers whenever I announce a test or quiz. The half that cheer depend on whether or not it is a math or spelling test : )

An interesting thing that has happened was when the father of one of my student’s passed away, the mother brought the class treats. I was shocked because it seemed that we should be doing something for the family, but in Mongolian culture they do things for anyone close to the family. Another boy’s Uncle died and his mother also brought the class goodies.

I know there are more stories, but I have forgotten them. When I remember I will update this post.

I found this 2008 Lonely Planet Go List book at the Salvation Army and just had to buy it. I know all the “cool” travelers have already visited much of this book, but it showed me that just when I thought I’d gone a lot of places, there is still so much more to see. I’m not sure I could pick out just one place in this GO LIST to visit. I want to go to at least 4 right now and I’m sure my choices would change tomorrow. It also makes me want to buy the 2009 and the 2010 edition.

So as of today I would choose to visit Bhutan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Morocco.

I asked friends on Facebook where they would go and I heard:
Greece, Italy, Turkey, N. Korea, Bhutan, Iceland, Nepal, Czech Republic, Cuba, and Fiji.

Places that I’d love to go back to include: Tibet, Nepal, Egypt, Indonesia and Czech Republic.
