There are three main products I really like. I feel about physically and am not getting as sick as I have in past winters. Also when my husband was sick he mended very quickly. The good thing about these vitamins is that they use the best ingredients instead of the extras or leftover ingredients that other vitamins use. You pay for what you get. If you are paying very little for vitamins then you are probably not getting very good quality.

The last product I like is the vitameal donation. It feels good to donate food to people who need it, especially at this time of year. This is the first time I have taught 5th grade and I am finding it very different. Some funny things that have happend so far are the fact that half the class cheers whenever I announce a test or quiz. The half that cheer depend on whether or not it is a math or spelling test : )

An interesting thing that has happened was when the father of one of my student’s passed away, the mother brought the class treats. I was shocked because it seemed that we should be doing something for the family, but in Mongolian culture they do things for anyone close to the family. Another boy’s Uncle died and his mother also brought the class goodies.

I know there are more stories, but I have forgotten them. When I remember I will update this post.

Ryan broke trail for us most of the time. I did it for awhile, but was pretty out of shape for this kind of activity. We even made Jordan do it for a little bit. I’d never snowshoed before. I was amazed at how tired my shins and hip flexors got.

Ryan had to help Jordan fix his snow shoes a couple times. Jordan fell down quite a bit. I’m not sure all of them were accidents.

Jordan enjoyed throwing snowballs at us while we were snow shoeing.

It snowed about a foot last night and the clouds parted to show us some blue sky.

I found this 2008 Lonely Planet Go List book at the Salvation Army and just had to buy it. I know all the “cool” travelers have already visited much of this book, but it showed me that just when I thought I’d gone a lot of places, there is still so much more to see. I’m not sure I could pick out just one place in this GO LIST to visit. I want to go to at least 4 right now and I’m sure my choices would change tomorrow. It also makes me want to buy the 2009 and the 2010 edition.

So as of today I would choose to visit Bhutan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Morocco.

I asked friends on Facebook where they would go and I heard:
Greece, Italy, Turkey, N. Korea, Bhutan, Iceland, Nepal, Czech Republic, Cuba, and Fiji.

Places that I’d love to go back to include: Tibet, Nepal, Egypt, Indonesia and Czech Republic.

I’m a history teacher so this list was perfect for me. I’ve been to Victoria Falls and heard my dad quoting “Mr. Livingstone I presume” the whole time I was there. I grew up in Washington State and so have been around Lewis and Clark’s explorations my whole life. And I lived in China, but that’s only a small portion of Marco Polo’s travels. I have a lot more to do.
