This site is well known for it’s murals which still retain their original paint color. My camera isn’t the best so we used Ryan’s camera. Sorry I don’t have the pics on here. The colors ranged from green, to sky blue, and rust red.
In order to get here we had to switch vehicles into a rattley old van owned by the Lacandon people. The backseat wasn’t bolted in, so Ryan and I bumped around a lot. That night we stayed at a “Lacandon Village”, which was not traditional village and not the village experience toted about in the travel guides.
