Today is a historic day.  My blog has now gotten over 1000 spams.  Now that’s exciting, okay not really, but I wonder how many spam comments I’ll get on this spam post.  I should keep track.  The most common spammed post is my corks post, which is a picture.

My ode to spam didn’t get any spam messages, except from Ryan.

This site is well known for it’s murals which still retain their original paint color. My camera isn’t the best so we used Ryan’s camera. Sorry I don’t have the pics on here. The colors ranged from green, to sky blue, and rust red.

In order to get here we had to switch vehicles into a rattley old van owned by the Lacandon people.  The backseat wasn’t bolted in, so Ryan and I bumped around a lot.  That night we stayed at a “Lacandon Village”, which was not traditional village and not the village experience toted about in the travel guides.
